The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star has substantial online following

Kai Trump will have plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates numerous golf courses and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically advised me to compete and relax," she explained.

"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events this year and holds ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.

However she's able to get advice from golf legend, who is dating her mother.

"He is the best player worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that her participation exposes the sport to different demographics, particularly reaching youth audiences.

The young star maintains millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
